| Repairs and rebuilds freight cars, locomotives, and passenger cars. They specialize in air brake servicing, wheel replacement, and coupler and draft gear maintenance. ETRC is currently involved in a freight car rebuilding program for Phillips Metals, Inc. Owners Chris Williams and Charles Poling refurbish historical railroad equipment, such as passenger cars and locomotives. They also teach railroad mechanical classes at the University of Tennessee. Both Williams and Poling are licensed locomotive engineers and offer their services on existing track at Heritage Center and via mobile repair.
