Heritage Railroad Corporation

Is operated by the Community Reuse Organization of East Tennessee. Heritage Railroad Corporation provides service to Heritage Center tenants with on-site rail spur service and to the general public with excursion train rides through area hillsides.

Heritage Center is able to meet tenants’ transportation needs outside the ETTP site with rail spur service from Norfolk Southern Railway Company, a Virginia-based freight railroad. Tenants at the center are able to transport a wide variety of products through Norfolk Southern, including coal, paper and forest products, agricultural and chemical products, automotive parts and finished vehicles, and metals and construction materials. Norfolk Southern rail operations span 21,600 miles and 22 states—from the Province of Ontario, Canada to Miami, FL and from Des Moines, IA to Washington, DC.
