Operations Management International, Inc. (OMI) is a subsidiary of the employee-owned CH2M Hill Companies, Ltd. OMI manages, rehabilitates, and maintains the utility systems and infrastructure at the East Tennessee Technology Park’s Heritage Center, under contract to the Community Reuse Organization of East Tennessee.

OMI provides a wide range of utility services, including:
  • potable water treatment and distribution,
  • sanitary sewage collection and treatment,
  • sanitary water and sewage sampling and analysis,
  • fire protection water system maintenance,
  • storm water management,
  • steam generation and distribution,
  • natural gas distribution,
  • road, sidewalk, and parking area maintenance,
  • grounds keeping, and
  • leased buildings maintenance.

OMI management of the East Tennessee Technology Park’s utilities has dramatically reduced operating costs. OMI has delivered to CROET a 15 to 25 percent reduction of prior utility budgets over the past 3 years. They are committed to continue with a 25 percent reduction for the remainder of their contract.
